A Better Version of the driver
We took all the bad things of the traditional driver: dropped bits, needing two hands to drive a simple fastener, having to supply the torque by hand—and designed a better tool. The ingenious fastener holder allows for the driving and removal of fasteners with just one hand.
Light and Compact
Since you only need one hand to do the work, it is small enough to fit into tight spaces and you can reach into places you never could if you needed to get both hands in there. And the on-board LED headlamp lets you see what you’re doing in dark spaces.
Does this come with a battery and charger?
Yes, the battery is integrated into the tool and not removable. You just plug it into the wall when you need a recharge.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
For a full recharge, it will take about 5 hours. And the SD Driver holds that charge for up to 18 months.
How much does the SD Driver weigh?
Only 1.1 lbs, so you can hold and operate it easily with just one hand.
How do I change the bits?
Just slide to top cover back, and forward, and it cycles to the next bit in the cartridge. You can also pop the top and manually rotate the cartridge to your preferred bit.
What size bits does the SD Driver use?
It comes preloaded with 6 of the most common 1” long ?” hex bits. You can buy replacements at any hardware or home improvement store.
